Product Description If you are a half size, please get the next size up. This medium-height women's boot by Bearpaw has a thick rubber outsole that offers a rugged tread ideal for walking in the snow or traversing rough terrain in any season. This is a versatile, warm, lightweight, and super stylish boot that would be perfect with a pair of jeans or tights. Bearpaw shoes and boots use the highest quality natural furs and genuine sheepskin.
Amazon.com Product Description If you're looking for a sturdier sheepskin boot, this one from Bearpaw could be a Dream come true. The suede upper features strong seams and a reinforced toe, while shearling lining keeps you extra warm and wicks away moisture. The substantial rubber outsole is thick, flexible and durable.

Love these boots August 24, 2010 Lisa These boots are so warm and comfortable, I love them, really good sole non-slip, some of the boots sold are with a hard sole, very unsafe. These are great wearing, I forget I have them on and wear them all over the house too! You won't be disappointed with BearPaw brand. Excellent workmanship.
Don't compare to Uggs! August 17, 2010 college shopper Don't buy these as an alternative to Uggs if you are expecting the same quality. These are worth their price, as long as you don't compare them to Uggs. They were stiffer than I expected from boots of this material, with the inside material being a bit scratchy. My chocolate ones also faded and showed wear in certain spots more quickly than I expected them to. They were tight at first when I got them in my usual size 6, but they quickly stretched out to fit. The boot heel was stiff and rubbed against my heel, even when I wore socks. I liked the height of the boots, coming to my lower/mid-calf. I was able to tuck in my skinny jeans, with some effort required. For the price, they were passable. With waterproof suede protector, they were able to keep my feet warm and dry. The next time I buy this kind of boot, I will pass on these and put in the extra money for boots of a higher quality.
I have the perfect boots now bring on winter!!!!!! August 8, 2010 QueenB Upon seeing these boots, I immediately fell in love and had to have them. After they arrived I was not one bit disappointed! I love the color and the fit; they are super soft and extremely comfortable. All in all they are simply perfect and my only complaint is that winter isn't getting here soon enough!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE 'EM July 30, 2010 Reading Jewel (Columbia, SC) I love these boots. Never before was I a boot person until 2 yrs ago when my college roommate took me to American Eagle and we both purchased the boots they had. I made good use of them too, until the eagles faded on the bottom and the tread was gone. Then I went on the hunt for a new pair. I was indecisive between the Emu boots and the Bearpaw. I had tried the Emu's on at Macy's and love the feel, texture, softness, color...but not the price. Even online the Emu boots were still expensive. It just so happen that the same roommate told me about Bearpaws and how she had purchased some from Shoe Carnival, well I found some at Shoe Dept and tried some on. Fell in love with the color, texture, the downy feel inside and how my toes felt some warm and the thickness of the sole...but not the price. Came on Amazon, found the perfect price and purchased them.
These boots fit to size, keep your toes nice and toast (which is plus for me, I despise cold feet), and the weight of them are just right to feel comfortable walking. Great in snow too!!!
The wannabe boot May 1, 2010 Jason A. Schmedes (Santa Cruz) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
BEARPAW, from what I've heard, is an excellent brand. They actually use real sheepskin, and real sheepskin wool on the inside of their boot. If you are into this style and not into brands, this boot is a good go. They're sturdier than they look actually - I might buy a pair for cheap to wear to Tahoe over the winter but only because I wouldn't mind ruining them. They're uncomfortable. They're not UGG equivalent, but are a higher grade boot than EMU's (and cost less.) Emu's use threaded cotton instead of real wool like BEARPAW. If you are looking to buy something INSTEAD of UGGS - don't waste your time. These are not the high quality of UGG and do not have the softness of UGG brand boots, which I had assumed with the same fiber content it would have the same quality however it does not. The boots are also a very tight fit. I usually wear 7 or 7 1/2 (depending on the shoe) and ordered a size 8, and it was far too small. Also, something I found odd was that one of the boots was actually a little different in specs than the other (size, shape, etc) the two boots were NOT uniform at all, which is something you can expect of low quality shoes. You deserve a better boot than Bearpaw. Don't buy these.
