I love the boot, but it is very snug. I would advise everyone to get a size bigger than normal if they don't want it tight.

I originally bought these boots because my old, cheaper rain boots tore. The rain boot looks nicer in person. I liked that it is well made, structured, and very warm inside. However the calf area fits very tightly. It's bearable to wear, but uncomfortable and definitely not worth the $50 to wear. For all you ladies that have larger calves (about 15 inches +), think twice about getting these boots! I tried them on with my skinniest jeans and they were still no good. I wear a 6.5-7 normally and decided to get an 8. The 8 was a good choice.
I'm disappointed that I won't be able to wear them. I think I'm going to just order another pair of the cheaper boots and be more careful with them.

BOB WARD
I attend college where it rains and snows constantly in the winter, and I wanted a rain boot that would look fashionable while walking to class AND keep my feet dry! I just received these in the mail, and they are wonderful. I have yet to wear them in the rain, but the fit it great. The color is beautiful, deep brown and not overly shiny. Overall quality of the boot is 5 stars. The traction on the bottom looks great as well, which I will definitely need when the sidewalks ice-over!
The are not clunky or bulky. My Nike running shoes are a 7 1/2 and I ordered these in an 8. Slightly roomy, but just perfect for slipping on a warmer sock. Super cute with a pair of skinny jeans. Im not sure if you would be able to a regular jean down the shaft of the boot, it is a little on the narrower side.
The boot also has a thin, soft lining with a thicker, supportive sole (the bottom is not completely flat like other rain boots), which makes them comfortable. Another feature I appreciated is that the top of the boot has soft, thin fabric strip covering the rubber. This would prevent the irritation of the boot rubber against your skin if you were to wear a skirt or lay your jeans over the boot rather than tucking them in.
Overall, awesome boot. Can't wait till it rains!

This is a nice looking boot with a comfortable fit. My daughter wore these boots for an entire weekend at Girl Scout camp, and they kept her feet comfortable, warm and dry through severe storms and freezing temperatures! Love the color, too!

I received these rainboots and was very excited for them, only to open the box and quickly notice that the boots were different shades of purple. One boot was significantly darker colored than the other, in addition to being a little taller. I had been sent a defective pair of rain boots and I was very disappointed. I immediately called the company and asked for a return shipping label. Maybe I wouldn't have returned the boots if the color difference was negligible, but it was very clear.
