I normally wear size 8 1/2 or 9, mainly because I have VERY wide feet. These were only a little tight (but not uncomfortable) when I got them, and within a week, had loosened up. I would definitely go down a size not up. Another review I read, said these weren't the real deal, they are, they have the removeable insole. Also, I'm overweight and was concerned that the calves would be too tight and they weren't. If you have very skinny calves, these boots will be loose, but they stand up quite nice, so they shouldn't slouch. Overall great purchase, my first pair of shoes of this type and I couldn't be happier. Will definitely purchase Emu boots again.

I thought I'd share a tip. I ordered Ugg water repellent spray from Zappos with free shipping. I can't really comment on the boots except to say that I bought my normal size, and they are fine. The weather hasn't been bad enough to wear the boots since I bought them, so I'll know more about them after next season.

Got this on a Gold Box deal and am very happy with the value. I have a wide foot with a high instep. I usually wear a size 9 M or 8 WW. The 8 M in these fit just fine. Nice materials and workmanship.

As I write this, I am wearing these boots--indoors! We live in snow country, and winter has always been a challenge in terms of cold feet. The sheepskin lining keeps my feet warmer than anything else I have tried. I promised myself to never be without a pair (or two) of Emu's. The arch supports are a great detail, and the outer layer cleans up well with a suede brush. Our snow is generally quite dry, but if you do happen to get these wet, let them dry in a warm area and brush 'em up. These are NOT a good choice for "mud season" or extremely sloppy weather.

Warm and comfortable. I love these boots and will buy another pair next time a sale comes around. The sheepskin interior is luxury for naked feet, which is the way I choose to wear them. I found them to be true to size and width. I found an article on sheepskin boot care, and made a point of protecting them with the special conditioner before wearing. No, I would not call them sexy looking boots, but they keep feet warm and comfortable and do that job beautifully.
