Customer Reviews: stylish, but too small March 23, 2010 Samantha (USA) I had bought the gray pair to these, and although they are stylish and have an air of uniqueness, I thought that they were too small. The toe point is narrower; but the length is what takes the cake. I bought a 6 1/2 which is the size i normally wear. I putted on some thin pair of soaks and my toes had no room. NOW I would recommend that people buy a size up. that should give you soaks room, and it should also gives you room for your toes to breath. I do think that they are comfortable though. I walk with them, but the fact that i felt that i needed more room just made my feet uncomfortable.
Too small! March 4, 2010 Aud (Canada) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a nicely made boot, for the money, and looks good, but these fit ONE SIZE TOO SMALL! I have two different boots of this brand and they are both too small (length, not width), so I'd say their sizing is off by at least a half size, if not a full size. Order a size up if you're ordering.

I wore these boots for the first time yesterday. I wore them all day, running errands, driving my kids around and to a school function at night. I was gone from 9:00AM until 8:30 PM. I thought my feet might start to hurt, so I put another pair of shoes in the car, just in case. These boots did hurt a bit, but not so much that I had to change shoes! I was impressed with this. Mostly, my toes hurt by the end of the day, but I've had worse 1st-time-wear experiences with other boots. I feel that the toe space in this boot is small or tight, but it might loosen up the more I wear these boots. The rest of the boot fits wonderfully. It is true to size - I'm a size 8 and I ordered a size 8. I received several compliments on them, too. I think they are very versatile. They could be worn with jeans, khakis, trousers, slacks, etc. I think they'd be adorable with a denim skirt or casual dress! They aren't as warm as I'd hoped, though. I bought the tan color, with the dark brown accent. The dark brown area was warm, but my toes were cold. I don't think the toe area is lined at all. The bottom of the shoe is rubber (good for traction on slick surfaces), but not the bottom of the heel. I was disappointed by that. It'll be easier to slip in these boots than some of my other pairs that have rubber on the base of the heels, too. These shoes are a REALLY good price right now (around $20!) What a deal for such style!
