I tried on numerous boots before I found these ones. After the snow storms in my area (that rarely saw heavy snow fall) I decided not be caught out again! This boot is NOT heavy and is water/slip proof. I liked the fur detail, and you can wear them over/under pants and it's not obvious you have on snow boots. I highly recommend going maybe a half size up to accommodate thick socks. This boot is a great buy!

My wife loves the boot. Very warm apparently. She normally wears a 7.5 and got an 8. A 9 would have been better for a heavy sock. Now with that said, she feels these are real warm and for most east coast activities (10 to 20 degrees for 2 hours) you won't need heavy socks. She also says "they are VERY light" easy to trudge around in. She would recommend to a friend. Why not a 5 star? I don't know, I guess because of the size up issue. The wifey really likes them though.
